I have been playing basketball since I can remember. I literally can’t help, but show off my form when I throw away a ball of paper. You know when you in class and you put your back to the trash can then you hit the half-spin with your shoulder, turn the opposite way, and shoot “KOBE!”. If you don’t know what I’m talking about you need to spice up your life because it’s one of the funnest things to do during a boring class (fact), but I digress. For those of you who do know what I’m talking about, don’t you get the same feeling watching this excuse of a president shoot jumpers into a crowd of people in need.
I’m not going to lie I did not believe this was real when I first saw it. I seriously had to watch it a handful of times before I realized that this was footage of an event that actually occurred. I really thought somebody was in a Trump costume shooting jumpers, especially since we’re getting close to Halloween and what not. The sad part is this is the reality we live in. We have reached a point in America where serious matters have been diluted by endless jokes and memes. At the end of the day, the people that have the power to do something about this situation need to wake up, because when the world looks back in the history books we will have to deal with our decision to put this clown in the office. Every day the headline says something about Trump’s tweets and American politics is seeming more and more like a reality show. Hardly, has President Trump ever picked up his phone to send a tweet that would inspire and unite our divided nation. If he’s causing this must controversy with 140 characters, what will he do with 280 if twitter moves forward with the update?
